The Women of Idaho is a grassroots, intersectional organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for women and girls across our state.

Our mission is to create opportunities for connection, education, and empowerment: helping women come together to inspire change in their communities and beyond.
We know that progress begins when voices unite, and that lasting change comes from collaboration and compassion.
Each year, we proudly host the Idaho Women’s March on the third Saturday in January, joining women nationwide as part of the annual National Women’s March.
This event celebrates strength, amplifies voices, and reminds us of the power we hold when we stand together.
As we grow, The Women of Idaho continues to expand our programs and events, promoting equality, leadership, and meaningful dialogue throughout the state.
Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive Idaho: one where all women and girls can thrive.
Across Idaho and the nation, our rights are under attack, and we've had enough.
- Idaho lawmakers have passed and upheld legislation banning abortion except when a mother’s life is at risk.
- Donald Trump’s “One Big Beautiful Bill” Act has stripped Medicaid funding from organizations that provide abortions and blocked reproductive health providers from receiving Title X funding: slashing millions of dollars in support for essential reproductive care nationwide.
- Mifepristone, a safe and FDA-approved medication for abortion, remains illegal in Idaho, despite being unanimously upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court in 2024.
- House Bill 71 bans access to gender-affirming healthcare for transgender youth under 18, stripping families and medical professionals of the ability to make deeply personal healthcare decisions.
These laws are dangerous, discriminatory, and out of step with the values of freedom and equality.
